i missed you today when the day begun,
and the sun shone up above
i sometimes feel you near me surrounded by your love,
i miss your baby chatter, and your funny little ways,
i miss so many things about you,to fill my empty days.
i try so hard i really do,to carry on without you,
an aching heart an empty smile i sit here thinking for a while
